Land owners have acknowledged the recreation use of this crag and the Otowi Peak trail. They have not chosen to restrict access at this time. Be sure to park and access this crag via public land access points (see "getting there")

Details
The BLM Taos Field Office implemented a Climbing Fixed Hardware Authorization Process for routes within its management area. The Diablo walls included in this plan are The Shack, Winter Wall, Sun Devil Wall, Solar Cave, Lake Street and Styx. The final document can be found online: shorturl.at/FYn4f
Description
Start on Buckman Warmup pitch and at the last bolt before the anchors, step left to a bolt heading straight up to the ledge below the large roof overlap. Shake out and get ready for some action. Big powerful moves through steep stone will eventually lead up and slightly left to a vertical face with black patina. Keep it together for the last few 5.11 moves that gain the anchor. Its not over til its over.
