Description Suggest change

This little beauty doesn't look like much next to Gravity's Rainbow, but it's well worth the approach when (rarely) formed.

P1 - WI4+. Climb the 100' pitch of tiered curtains and pillars to a fat tree on the ledge above.

P2 - WI2. Ramble up another 100'+ pitch to a hanging bog with several annoying anchor options. There is tat in situ on a gnarled tree 50 feet up slope.

Rappel with two ropes back to the tree on the ledge above P1. Rappel with two ropes back to the approach gully. Downclimb or rappel with a single rope the lower approach slabs to return to the base of Over The Rainbow.

Location Suggest change

Approach as for Over The Rainbow. Either climb the first pitch of Over The Rainbow and traverse right to the base of P1 (recommended), or keep hiking uphill and grovel up slabs to access a wide gully that leads to the climb.

Protection Suggest change

Ice screws and 2 ropes or maybe an 80m single.
