Description Suggest change

This is an awesome route, it has more than 160 feet of steep, straightforward Grade 4 ice. There is thin ice on the top, but it can be bypassed by traversing right on mixed terrain.

Protection Suggest change

Bring a large piece of webbing to attach to bridge; a cam was placed as a secondary anchor point. Bring your bridge scrambling skills!

Toprope Protection Suggest change

The east side of the bridge above Bear Creek Falls was used as a top-rope anchor. Probably you can use the west side as well, but it would be more difficult and I don't know how the Dept. of Transportation feels about using their bridge as an anchor.
