Description Suggest change

This route starts up low angle rock slabs with thin ice and snow covered rock. It is reported to extend for another seven pitches. The best view of the climb can be had from the southern end of the Ice Park trail.

Descend on threads/trees.

Location Suggest change

Going south from Ouray, park at a pullout 500 feet north of the first tunnel. The route is about 0.25 miles north of this pullout on the east side of the highway. Start up a tree filled gully towards the climb.

The approach time is about 30 minutes or less.

Protection Suggest change

Stubbies. If it's thin, there may be some questionable rock pro available on the left side of the first pitch.
