It's surrounded by W.M.N.F but the Shell Pond Crags are located on private property subject to a conservation easement held by Greater Lovell Land Trust. The owners and easement holders of the property have been gracious enough to allow climbing to occur on their land, but access is not guaranteed in the future. If you show up and there are numerous cars in the parking lot consider climbing at other nearby Evan’s Notch locations
Description
A proud line out the largest part of the magnificent roof, Bombshell takes a decisive path between Righta Rumpus and the orange arete of Two Nuts For You. Start as for Two Nuts, bouldering steeply past the first two bolts, until you can gain a ledge out left. Head moderately up and right, until the two bolt lines diverge. Break left to a bouldery sequence through the white rock to a rest. From here, climb out the large roof system. The technical crux comes midway through, gaining a good hold to shake out, before taking on the final roof. Fight the pump to a 2 bolt anchor and take in the spectacular view.
