It's surrounded by W.M.N.F but the Shell Pond Crags are located on private property subject to a conservation easement held by Greater Lovell Land Trust. The owners and easement holders of the property have been gracious enough to allow climbing to occur on their land, but access is not guaranteed in the future. If you show up and there are numerous cars in the parking lot consider climbing at other nearby Evan’s Notch locations

Description
A shorter route that is not quite as classic as the other 12s, but still a lot of fun. Start just left of Pollo Del Mar. Easy climbing to the first bolt, leads to a tricky undercling move to pass the second bolt. Gain a rest ledge, then get your energy back for the crux roof. Big jugs through the roof that aren’t always obvious from below pump you out, then right at the lip it goes to crimps for a few moves. Pull hard and hold it together as you overcome the lip and head to the anchor.
