Description
PLEASE DO NOT CLIMB THIS ROUTE! THIS ROUTE IS CLOSED TO CLIMBING DUE TO SAFETY ISSUES!
Information on this page is kept to help the climbing community understand the issues on this part of this crag.
Historically, this climb was bolted, uninstalled, reinstalled, then it was closed. The City/County of Boulder's legal department was involved in this decision.
Pious Polecats was an 11 bolt sport climb directly up the overhanging corner system in the middle of the upper west face of Ridge One that shared its first bolt with God's Kingdom on Earth. Due to a large, flexing flake at mid-height, the route was and is closed, with the middle five bolts have been removed. The upper five bolts remain and are shared with a (currently) closed and red-tagged project that traverses in from the right, above the flake.
