This route might make you fluff your feathers if you are in to that kind of thing.... This is a fun route with great stone and a fine warm-up for the area. In the Fixed Pin guide, this route is listed as a top rope called "The Climbing Volunteer."

It is just left of Crushing My Gear to Climb.

11 bolts + an anchor.

Is this the same route as #38 Climbing Volunteer (5.10- TR) in the Fixed Pin Staunton SP guidebook? Jul 21, 2016

No worries, didn't get to try it today, but will get on it next time I visit. Thanks for all the time and effort you put in to develop this area! Jul 23, 2016

This was actually more fun than I was expecting by looking at it. Bouldery start, surprisingly fun movement on the slab, then an interesting crux before the anchors. If you're comfortable doing so, I would suggest climbing up past the anchors to the top out for some great panoramic views. Aug 15, 2016
