Description

Thin, left-arching crack to grovel-fest offwidth and chimney. Surprisingly good. Not in the Carville guidebook, referred to as "Drop Out 1" in the newer book. Finally sprouted its own anchors about 5 years ago.

Location

Between Nova Express and Drop Out Left.

Protection

Thin for the bottom, up to 5" for the upper part.

Surprised no comments on this one yet. Maybe it gets overshadowed by its neighbors.

Loved this route. Seemed to have a bit of everything. Flake traverse into hand size widening quickly into desperate offwidth.

I didnt use anything bigger than a #3 but could have used some larger pieces for the top. Small gear for the bottom.

Enjoy! Oct 26, 2015
