Description

BD climbs on largely excellent granite that one wishes would go on and on. The route stops at the mid-point ledge, and with a few cams one could, in principal, climb to the top of the crag. Climbing above the ledge did not seem worthwhile. A brief crux comes between the first and second clip. BD might be better described as a 5.9 climb with a short 5.10 crux.

Location

BD starts 20 feet right of Deflator-Mouse.

Protection

Six draws and something for the double bolt anchor at the top.

The closest route left of Honey Pot. Richard has been busy this winter. First time out on rock this spring and found the crag loaded with 5 new climbs. This is a nice warm-up, fun, varied move climb. definitely stick clip as high as you can. The crux is right off the floor. I've seen 5-12 climbers miss the move to the first ledge. May 7, 2014
