This pitch climbs the slab between pitch 2 of Dappled Mare and Hairline Fracture.

Start from the big ledge atop the first pitch of Dappled Mare. Head up and left past several horizontal cracks, then step up onto the slab where 5 bolts protect very thin and sustained friction slab climbing, ending at the bolt anchor for Dappled Mare.

Rappel from here (150 feet) or continue up Dappled Mare or Roan Way.

Medium stoppers and CDs to 3 inches.

This cat is tricky! put in a long effort trying to sort the crux out on lead-to no avail. Really fun and well protected, get on this thing!! Dec 30, 2016
