Description
First Steps is now the easiest bolted route in Rifle. Low angle, well-protected climbing starts from the top of the platform and veers left to avoid a steep headwall. After going left, you end up in a groove feature where the angle increases just before the anchor.
Location
This is just left of Supre Guide, at the top of the mound where a platform exists for belaying. It is best approached by walking on the road from the Ruckman and approaching from below. Also, it is easily approached from the campground.
