This route starts at the SE toe before you pass under a large boulder.

P1-This pitch trends right gaining the E face on nice plates and edges. A height dependent crux can stop most mortals below 5'9 but can be aided through.5.11-
P2-Keep trending up and right to a ledge with an anchor. 5.10+
P3-Again trend right off the belay and up beautiful face. 5.10-
P4-A final long face pitch stretches up to a top anchor.5.9

Rap the route.

starts on se arete of muttonhead. 1st pitch traverses onto muttonheads's eastern face. subsequent pitches continually angle up and right.

Does this route start at the lower toe of Muttonhead in the descent gully between Muttonhead and Sheepshead? Dec 24, 2012

wow amazing route on nice and steep rock, could use a tiny bit more traffic on certain spots but the rest is stellar, and the climb is actually 4 pitches if you don't link pitch 2 and 3 wich would be easily doable. I highly recommand it! Feb 27, 2013

A pretty decent route, specially pitch 2-3 linkup. This whole route could probably be climbed very safely with a third of the bolts placed in it and a single regular rack. Jan 6, 2016
