This tower, now being called the "Kong" tower, rises above and slightly south of the "Authors" tower which now has the northern most routes in the "Lower Jungle", ie. Rudyard Kipling, Upton Sinclair et. al. The Authors tower is easy to identify because it forms a tunnel over the trail. Just south of the tunnel on a rise there is a carin that marks the 4th class scramble to the start of King Kong. This is a stout lead! Aug 19, 2011
