Located on the south face of Surprising Crag, the 5th to the right of the obvious chimney. This is most likely the first route you will see as you get to the wall from the approach trail.

The route starts in a broken up ramp that leads to a roof. Traverse right under the roof or go straight over for a slightly harder variation. Finish with an easy low-angle lie back crack.

4 bolts and 2 bolt anchor.

Super fun route, the overhang at the start is the crux, and it's smooth sailing from there on. Apr 13, 2014

The first bolt is a little high/awkward, at least if you're short (I'm 5'2"). I ended up clipping the first bolt on the route to the left before I reached over to the first on Monkey Bob. Throughout it felt a little run-out with dangerous fall zones. It was a fun route, but I wouldn't put a very beginner leader on it. Feb 9, 2015

Bring sling up for anchors as two quickdraws will not be equalized. Jul 21, 2016

Hi, I was there with a group on Sunday 5 June, 2019. One of my friends left my white Petzl helmet near Monkey Bob. If anyone finds this, I would happily trade you a six pack of your favorite beer! THANK YOU! May 7, 2019 · Lost & Found
