Rock Climbing Taiwan

Matt Robertson

Published 2012, already becoming out-of-date. A very well-produced book with incredible photos and useful approach and historical information. Route protection, grade, safety, etc may vary wildly from book's (lack of) description.

Climb China

Samizdat Collective Inc

This book covers every significant climbing area in China as of 2013. Yangshuo, Getu, Liming, Hong Kong, Guoliang, Fumin, they're all in here. Newer areas like Keketouhai and Shigu are not.

There is also plenty of information on planning, travel, and language. It is laid out in a simple and easy-to-read format, yet still contains all the information you will need. Although not exhaustive - many areas have their own dedicated guidebooks - it does cover enough of the most popular and easily accessible areas with enough detail to keep you happy for weeks if not months.
