Description
This is a cluster of house-sized boulders that are home to many classics. Some of these classics include the powerful finger-strength and contact-strength test-piece known as "Pyramid Power" and the technical yet burly climb known as "Fisher Fissure". The namesake of the area is a well-traveled, well known, aesthetic striking lightning-bolt crack climb known as "Zig Zag Crack".
Getting There
From the Entrance Boulders, follow the main trail heading West until a large overhanging boulder is reached. This boulder is known as the "Umbrella Boulder". The trail forks left down a slight hill past the behemoth "Black Jack Boulder" before venturing up another hill which passes through the Dill Bundle. Once past this cluster of boulders, many large boulders will be found on the right side of the trail. This collection of vast boulders is the Zig Zag Area.
