Please avoid climbing on the far western side of Middle East Wall where there may be an active nest site on the route "Australian Dick Wrestling", approximately through July 15, 2019. More information is being gathered on the specific species.

Description

With a short walk this area is another of Vantage's gems. Facing north, this wall is always in the shade and contains many difficult crack and sport routes in the center, surrounded by dozens of variable quality easier cracks. A good alternative to Sunshine Wall on blazing hot days.

Getting There

There are two ways to approach this wall. You can either do a class 3/4 scramble from the road a little bit down from the main parking lot (not recommended), or from the main parking lot you can head North East around Agathla Tower, turning right just as you pass the tower. Continue East, *past* the left turn that goes to sunshine wall. The trail goes up a little bit and then hugs the cliff band until you reach the main wall where bolts will be easily visible on many of the aretes.
