Description

The north Face of Snickers is a wall that is always in the shade and consequently nice on hot days. It is right next to the southwest side of Little Hunk, so it's a location with shade and sun in close proximity. The rock features a lot of good gray varnish, and is heavily lichenated in spots. Destination routes include the cracks Funny Bone (5.8), Norwegian Wood (5.9) and Don't Think Just Jump (5.10a) and Crime of the Century (5.11a). There are a couple of newer bolted routes as well - Humerous (5.10b) and Joyride (5.11c). This is a good area for children as there are no chasms or drop-offs and the car is never too far away.

Routes from left to right:

Bakersfield (5.8)
Fresno (5.10a)
Mrs. Carvey Danison (5.6 R A2)
Way of Life (5.11c)
Norwegian Wood (5.9)
Joyride (5.11c)
Frankenwood (5.10a R)
Ulnar Nerve (5.10a)
Funny Bone (5.8)
Humerous (5.10b)
The Ridiculous Finish (5.11a)
Don't Think Just Jump (5.10a)
Knightshift (5.10d)
Crime of the Century (5.11a)
Time in the Penitentiary (aka: Two Flew the Coop) (5.11d)
Wok on By (5.7)
Alpine Diversions (5.11b)
Souls of Black (5.11d)
Death by Chocolate (5.11b)

Getting There

Located 1/4 mile directly east of Echo Rock and south of Little Hunk. The Vogel book shows all routes left of "Don't Think, Just Jump" incorrectly. The Bartlett Book doesn't really show good detail of the face but is usable to figure out the routes.

I believe he is talking about the two bolted sport climbs on the far RIGHT side of the N.Face of Snickers....the farthest right one is 5.10a and the one just left is 5.11-.....they are both right of Crime of the Century...the description and rating is correct.... Jan 15, 2012
NLi10Me, not sure where you're talking about...are you thinking of the route left of Fresno (10a) on the far, far left (east) side of the cliff, up a conrner/roof, 4 bolts I believe? Jan 15, 2012
NLi10Me
I believe there is an 11ish just to the left of this unnamed 10a. It begins with two bolts at the same height along a juggy traverse then proceeds into a left heel hook and left hand flake pull up...
What would you guys rate that route? Jan 15, 2012
