May 14, 2026 · Send. Wtf…did not expect to do this today. Lunchtime sauna and team kid drag. The key was perching as high as possible on the high left foot with the toehook still in. Such a cool feeling...the perch foot sucks your hips in and everything clicks. Same kind of move as its neighbor, Missing in Action, but much harder.

Was struggling to do the normal beta without crimping so I found a different way: go left hand to the crimp shield feature as a two finger pocket, match hands, then rock over from here with a very close right toe. Getting the toe and mantling was brutal but you avoid the bad left hand sloper this way.

May 8, 2026 · Send. Synovitis and lack of cold temps narrowed my options but luckily I found a method without left hand crimping that also bypasses the mantle. The right hand crimp is just barely good enough…if there were no chalk, you would never think it could be used as a hold.
