Description Suggest change

This is the cluster of boulders underneath a big slab on Lichtenberg Mountain. This area has seen development by the Washington "usual suspects" starting in 2015 but was generally regarded as "not worth it" due to length of hike, shortness of season, and lack of megas. A number of these folks were contacted prior to writing this up, but it was hard to put together exactly what was climbed, tried, etc. Much of what was done was unnamed. Thus please take all names/FAs with a grain of salt and reach out if you want to set the record straight.

Despite this, it can be an enjoyable destination because of the high density, beautiful location, and lack of other boulderers. The season here is similar to the Treasury, so don't expect an escape from bugs or humidity when its summer time.

Getting There Suggest change

2.5ish mi from Smithbrook trailhead. Most of the hike is on the trail to Valhalla/McCauseland but expect at least 15min of schwacking or more if you don't know where you're going.
