Description Suggest change

In the middle of the Black Wall is a big, right-facing corner/gully (around the corner to the right of All That Jazz). To its right is 50-60’ of wall forming a face until a left-facing corner with a laser-cut crack (The Life Chuckle). The right-hand bolted line on the face is Natural Curiosity. You can zig-zag scramble up to the ledge below the face avoiding the first pitch if you want.

From the steep hike to the base, go up and right about 30' from the toe of the cliff.

P1: 5.6, 5 bolts, 55’ Scramble up from the base of the cliff clipping bolts off a couple mid-pitch ledges to an anchor on a big ledge below the vertical, main face of the wall.

P2: 5.9, 12 bolts, 115’ Climb straight up above the anchor on some delicate crimps (crux) for 3 bolts. Easier climbing above leads to an anchor on a ledge.

P3: 5.10c, 5 bolts, 40’ This delicate, balancey, and super fun slab pitch is the crux of the route. Climb up and slightly left off the anchor to a good horizontal foot ledge with an undercling crimp rail. Traverse left a few feet to some slab crimps and slopers, then straight up to a big ledge with anchor (same anchor as One Hand Clapping.)

Descent: Walk the ledge to the left and scramble 30’ to meet the top of Black Wall, next to All That Jazz. Follow the standard Black Wall walk-off.
