Description Suggest change

A fun and committing trad route!

Climb up the left-angling crack with the option to stem/chimney the Montezuma's Toe pillar for about the first half of the route. The crux begins after a good rest about 2/3 of the way up. Make some sick lieback moves up the very thin flake with occasionally marginal feet. (This is what gives the climb an R rating, as a fall on gear in this flake would not be ideal.) Continue up good holds to the anchors.

Location Suggest change

Just climber's left of the pillar home to Montezuma's Toe.

Protection Suggest change

Mostly small cams/nuts in the 00-1" range. Two-bolt anchor with lower-offs.
