Crimpstones, meet the Crimpstones, they're the modern Cold Springs Dome Family....

Fred Crimpstone is the newest hard sport climb for the Central Coast. In an area with limited opportunities for long pumpy quests, Fred Crimpstone provides, with a full body workout that will challenge all of your sports clipping skills. Crimp, gaston, and slap your way up 80 feet of consistently overhanging stone.

The introductory 20 feet of jugs have not had the cleaning/buffing benefit of hundreds of ascents, as the neighboring Makunaima has. But after extensive (many, many hours) of toiling away at the lower section, its mostly cleaned up. Bomber 1/2 inch stainless anchor bolts were used for all the hardware.

Note- Going right around bolt 5/6 to make use of the rest flake of Kneeanderthal Directus lowers the grade to 12+ , still rad, but not the full value experience.
