Description
A fairly consistent route (6 pitches > 5.9). It starts off with an easy layback crack and leads into the forth pitch of "Postlerweg". After that it continues to the left for almost 40 m and stops at a tree. The next two pitches are straight, steep and fun on a pockety wall. At the end of the fourth pitch traverse right for ~20 m, passing behind a big block to the anchor. The fith pitch is similar to the last two (the boltline just to the right is "Broken Soul"). Pitch 6 (crux) starts with a steep left traverse, followed by 20 m of walking and ends with a slippery rail traverse. Pitch 7 moves about 2 m back from the anchor and then over bouldery move onto more relaxed climbing. Don´t stop at the anchor for "Broken Soul" and "Postlerweg", but continue left and a bit down to another anchor. Pitch 8 ascends a steep, exposed and left traversing face. Pitch 9 traverses left again to reach a wide, but easy chimney.
Location
Park at "Rote Wand" parking lot and follow the logging road that continues to the west from the back of the lot. Follow this road until you see an intersection leading up to a wooden barn. Continue up th road to the right of the barn into the forest (red-white-red marking on tree). You will pass a sign that says "Mixnitz" (this leads down to the left and the town Mixnitz), continue up right and along a fence until you hit a grassy meadow (~30 min total). Continue aross the meadow towards the wall. A short connection splits off the main approach trail on the right towards the wall. Continue along this climbers trail for about 120 m until it zig-zags up towards the wall. The route starts to the right of cave.
