Follow existing trails and climb using removable protection or in climbing areas with existing approved fixed anchors or bolts. Development of any new rock climbing, bouldering or rappelling areas and development of any climbing routes involving the permanent installation of new fixed anchors or new trail construction requires prior Forest Service authorization.
Description
Awesome, overlooked crack climb that has two completely different styles. Follow a finger crack and some dirty face holds to a small ledge. Continue up the hands to fists crack to the top on perfect rock. Rap a tree to descend.
Location
Located around the corner from Break the Edge. HARD TO FIND.
So far right from indian creek proper, this should almost be considered a different crag. It's best to approach heading for the ridgeline to the southwest of the standard IC approach trail, taking the path of least resistance uphill. Stay out of the rhodos, but get close enough to see cliffline. Head south (should be your right) while keeping the cliffline in view and after 5-10 minutes look for the large, golden arete and walls in this area and you should be close.
