When it's in, this is a very nice, easy ice-filled corner. When thin, it can be scary.

Go up the corner (good rock gear if the ice is minimal) to an overhang. Over this, then up rambling ice to trees.

Right off the pond, between the Power Play amphitheater and the Laceration area. It's hidden, but only about 12' from the pond.

Ice screws plus a few pieces of rock gear (nuts and cams and cams to 1.5").

Even when the ice is in, this is a really tricky, hard to protect route. Rock gear is a must, as screws only come in handy once you're well off the ground. I'd be more inclined to rate it as an M3-4 rather than a WI3. On the plus side, it's pretty short. Great fun! Mar 20, 2015
