Description

A good introductory route. Very short and fun. Lower to the ledge about 30 ft down.

Location

Climber left of the Great Yawn. Photo soon!

Protection

Anchor off trees. Be careful with them, Shovel Point's trees are very fragile.

You can extend this route significantly by lowering all the way down to the water. Work up the low angle slab on tiny holds with spread out moves. Minus the lichen, it's a pretty fun variation. Clocks in at around 5.9 or so. Sep 11, 2017
