This is a direct variation to Batwings. Two bolts protect the start, but it is a little runout to the first bolt. I personally think the regular start to Batwings is a better start.

Join Batwings at the end of the right trending tarverse, and continue with that route.

Draw, and SR for upper Batwings

I've only done this start, and I think it's great. The spacing of the bolts lines up perfectly with the difficulty of the moves. I think this is a perfectly bolted start of a great climb. It's harder slab climbing, so get your head in the right mode to enjoy it.

Super fun. Sep 16, 2013
The super insecure slab off the start makes you hate the route in the moment, but it's never that bad thinking back on it. Worth a go, and it just makes the upper dihedral feel that much sweeter once your in it away from the slab. Worth a go for sure! Jul 15, 2011
