Climbing Near Weed, California

This is a fun boulder for beginners and is very easy to find. Good spot if you have a morning to kill. Heading down I-5 take Exit 738 into Mt Shasta. Turn onto W Lake Street and continue, going straight, onto E Lake Street. From here join up with E Washington Drive. Driving straight past my Shasta High School will put you onto Everett Memorial Highway. Drive up Evirret Memorial Highway for 4.3 miles to a pullout on the opposite side of the road. Walk across the road and the boulder will 100 feet up the slope.

To the south of the warmup boulder area and downhill from the road/ trail(downhill to the right of the trail) it is a large boulder with a double hump like a camels back Follow trail/road downhill and then bushwhack down to the right when approaching area
