Hobble Creek Canyon is located east of the town of Springville. There are two areas with bolted lines and a bit of bouldering as well. The climbing areas are on Uinta National Forest land, and automobile access to them is unavailable during the winter months because of road closure. There are two developed public campgrounds in the right fork of Hobble Creek Canyon, and roadside camping in some areas. From I-15 take exit 260 east. Pass through the town of Springville on 400 S. At the four-way stop sign at 1300 E, turn right onto Canyon Rd. Follow this into Hobble Creek Canyon.
12-18 ft tall boulder cliff with a flat-ish landing. The landing could be improved. Needs establishing. Potential for V0-V10 problems. Uphill a 1/4 mile from the ultra-white sandy rocky area in Springville Utah.
Great Limestone Climbing on Small edges and big moves. Wall is south facing. Best Climbing season is Late fall and early winter and spring. From on top of the lime pile hike north on the trail that leads up hill. Follow trail till a small gully on your right. Go up gully trail to the base of the cliff.
