Description

One of the most historically significant climbing areas in Sedona, with routes ranging from the 1969 Beckey aid line on Christianity Spire to the modern classics on Trundler's Club Buttress. Much re-discovery to be done, with forgotten spire adventures all over the place.

One of those spots where a climber can almost guarantee a crowd of spectators watching below, thanks to its proximity to popular tourist viewpoints like Chicken Point and the famous Chapel of the Holy Cross.

Getting There

From Hwy-179, turn east at the roundabout onto Chapel Road. Park at the trailhead below the switchbacks for the Chapel. If full, double back for one of the gravel pullouts on the side of said road.
