Description

1500 limestone routes and counting! This area is best from Fall - Spring, but climbing is possible (even enjoyable) in the shade in summer.
Great camping is available at Camping Semeli. It is right on the beach and the people who work there are extremely kind and helpful. There is also a climbing shop / cafe in town.

Getting There

From Athens expect a 3.5 hr drive (even though Google says 3). Start on a wide, fast highway then twist, turn, and climb your way along the coastal road. Enjoy the view, try to avoid car sickness. Once in Leonidio you are 5 minutes from the beach and 5-30 minutes from the parking for the multitude of climbing sectors.
