Description
An amazing, vibrant, and friendly place. If you visit only to boulder at Rocklands you'll miss out on amazing sport and trad climbing spread throughout the country.
Getting There
The easiest is to fly to Johannesburg, probably via Dubai/Qatar or Europe. A two hour flight from Johannesburg will get you to Cape Town which has awesome trad on Table Mountain in the city, sport and boulder close by and masses of sport in Montagu about 3h north east, or 3-4h to the Cederberg home to the best trad, sport and bouldering in the country.
Waterval Boven, the premier sport climbing venue is about 4h from Johannesburg by car, or you can fly to Nelspruit, but that's expensive.
