Jun 27, 2026 · 8 pitches. Lead / Fell/Hung. Lead rope solo. Hot day. 9hrs car to car with summit. Ground anchor was 2,3,4. P1 crack was super sweet. Linked p1 and p2. Scary at the dihedral mid p2...needed smaller nuts, used a half-sunk #3 blue bd stopper and a sling taped to a flake - yuck! Shoulda got good black totem placement below dihedral above the bush and #3 cam. P3 I pushed as hard as I could but had to take at the crux and a few more takes in that 6 foot section until roof. Everything else was clean. TR soloing back up P3 I got it down to 1 fall - still pretty hard. Not enough water. Did the 3 raps down Exit Us. Met up with Shilo and Chris at the Diamond 7 bar afterward.

Gear was .5 at bottom of big crack (first piece), blue and black totem right next to each other above that, then crux and yellow totem at bottom of next pod in crack. RH undercling in crack, LH to good hold out left of crack, stem a bit, left hand to something, feet on right wall, then I think RH ringlock at pod (can get cam below ringlock). then go up and stem when possible. Hard.
