Description
Wide crack climb on the smooth face down the hill from the main, hard, sporty routes. Route is the first crack right of the thin finger's dihedral. Start on the dirt hill and wander up the face to the wide crack being mindful of loose rock. Find what gear you can and follow the angling crack until you reach some good horizontals. Traverse right under the large roof staying a little high on the good holds until you can reach the weakness, and top out at the large tree and ledge. Either extend the tree anchor over the lip and lower, or belay from the top and walk off. Beware or loose rock and make sure your belayer stands to the side and wears a helmet. More ascents should clean the rock well.
Location
Approach from the hard, sporty lines at the main last wall and head down the hill on the rock staircase. Continue past the wall on your right with the hand crack dihedral, go around the corner, and walk a little farther to see the smooth face with the 3 or 4 distinct cracks. This is the left-most, obvious wide chimney looking crack.
