Description Suggest change

This is the easiest, most approachable route from the Mundo Ledge wall that follows improbably-reasonable holds that help you overcome a few crux sections with intimidating appearance.

Starts with a step up on an easy ledge to clip a low first bolt, then establish onto the face to clip a high fixed draw before pulling high and left over the step arete. More delicate face climbing leads to another steep pull up and left over another bulging arete to surprising features that take you to the crux via "ball" holds through a dark steep face to the right. Get the feet right and move quick, then establish a nice stance so you can shake out below the headwall crux. Commit to a few tough moves to reach the anchor.

The two routes to the left of this, on the Mundo Ledge, are still closed projects. Will update as they open.

Location Suggest change

From the Mundo Ledge (large ledge below stunning twisted basalt located just before the South Beach sector), this is the third route from the left just before the juniper tree. The second bolt is a fixed draw that you clip to step up and over the roof to the left. It shares a first bolt with a route that heads up and right, with its second bolt on the face above (this is still a closed project).

Protection Suggest change

11 bolts, 3 of which are fixed draws. 2 bolt anchor
