HUMAN WASTE: Human waste is a major issue plaguing the area. The Southern Nevada Climbers Coalition (SNCC) works to provide "wag bags" free of charge in several locations: Black Velvet Canyon, The Hamlet, Kraft Mountain Area, The Gallery, and The Black Corridor. These bags are designed so that you can pack your waste out. Consider bringing one to be part of your daily kit no matter where you go. Once used, please dispose of them properly. Do not throw them in the toilets at the parking areas.
See https://www.southernnevadaclimbers.org/wag-bags for more information on the program.
Description
It is a stack of good climbing that is guarantee to wake your senses. Start in a narrow chimney to the right of massive roof above. Starting with fingers you will move into cozy chimney split by the rib inside. Having a 6 will enhance confidence, although theres a bolt on a right column to assist with safety. Aim to stay inside to move behind large slanted plate that offers small gear placement behind. A sequence of good chimney moves will bring you to stand on top of slanted plate. Although it might be tempting to go on the face on the right side, continue to stay in the narrowing chimney to come out above next bolt. Here chimney turns into easing OW. Stay inside until you gain a good foot rail. Clip the a third bold and get ready for a techie traverse by standing on a sloppy smear. Reach out for the crimps above and with a crossover hand move, make a wide step into a hand crack on the left. Good protection here. Follow the crack up to the anchors.
