Description Suggest change

This climb is located just to the right of Penguin and follows parallel to it, eventually reaching the same top out area. Several steep ice bulges take you to a fun rock finish. Plenty of options for screw placement and a number 1 cam protects the rock topout. An Ice Climbers Guide to Northern New England says "This route climbs an independent line between The Penguin and Dropline" and calls it a WI4....I felt like it climbed slightly harder than Penguin and the easy rock finish makes it interesting.

Location Suggest change

You can reach this route by climbing P1 of Penguin or via the traverse from P2 of Standard. Look for the large flow to the right of Penguin.

Protection Suggest change

Screws and a cam or two for the top out.
