Description

I have yet to climb this crack but wanted to add it on the site to hopefully get more light shed on this classic looking line.

This was a little unclear to me, but it seems as though one needs to climb a 10d finger crack to get up to the base of Putter. Putter is a flaring, left-leaning crack that splits the south side of the formation. It looks to be hands and fists.

Location

Located on Blair 3, Putter is on the opposite side of the formation of Hard to Believe. This is on the south side of Blair 3.

Protection

Doubles from finger size to #4 and maybe some extra #4s. Looking at topos of this route there are no anchors on top but you can do two rappels from anchors on the climbers right.

Fucking great! Not that sustained. A #5 would have been nice but not totally necessary. Save big cams for the belay or build your anchor way the hell back on the boulder. Oct 9, 2017
