Gate Buttress Area Recreational Lease: Climbs on Church Buttress above vault remain closed Details

Description

A good warmup for the wall. Some steep jugs, some slab, some airy moves. Hook the jugs and the route is a breeze.

Location

About 15 feet downhill from "X Marks the Spot." Look for a very low bolt which is the beginning of the route.

Chain anchors.

Protection

Bolts and a couple pieces to #2. Long runners help decrease the rope drag.

After the 2nd bolt on Under Pressure, I traversed the crack leading to the corner below the final bolt. I'd like to call this variation "Lost in Tanners Again!" Sep 12, 2017
