Description

5.7 trad corner on pitch 1 is followed by the marquis new pitch 2, of 5.10b*** mixed. Then a sport pitch of 'Ptarmigan Tower' 5.9** and the last pitch of 'Sky Lounge' 5.10b***sport. Pitch 2 description: from bolted belay, traverse right and down 1 m. clip 3 bolts, then trad climb up nice left facing corner. Metolius Red and Black cams are very nice. Then clip 5 bolts up crux headwall to bolted belay.

Location

Right of Ptarmigan Tower. RSB Central.

Protection

Stainless Steel bolts, fixed anchors and 1, light set, of cams, finger to thin hands. 8 new bolts on the new marquis pitch 2.

Nice work Greg. Super fun 2nd pitch. worthy. I did a bit of trundling on the top half of the 1st pitch... it could use a bit more. A belay anchor below the 2nd pitch would be ideal for the belayer but might be overkill. Fun climbing. Thanks. Jun 7, 2017

Great addition! Beautiful rock. Top 3 pitches are all fantastic! After pitch #1, we used a BD #2 and .75 for the mixed portion of the second pitch between bolts...those were the last pieces of gear that we used on the route. Jun 19, 2017
