Description

Start climbing up through big holds to a crimpy bolder problem. Get a shake at the no hands rest then climb beautiful rock up to the large hueco. A few more moves and you will be clipping the anchors.

Location

As the trail meets the cliff this route is the first one you will see.

Still a fair amount of choss down low, watch out for crumbling footholds and other falling debris. Rock quality drastically increases following the first bolt. Jul 11, 2016

Really fun route. As mentioned rock before first bolt is not solid. Fun crimpy technical crux then nice ledge rest. The rest was sustained 5.10 climbing with another rest in a hueco just before anchors. Felt more like 5.11b to me, but was also late in my second day of climbing. May 15, 2017

Bring a LONG stick clip for the first bolt. Especially since the rock quality is mediocre at the beginning. The bolder problem at the beginning is super fun, not heady with the bolt well placed and definitely a fun couple 5.11a moves to a no hands rest. The rest of the route is smooth sailing with plenty of no hand rests. Great for a first 5.11a lead or TR or your first 11 onsite. Apr 2, 2018
