Climb the clean black slab up good holds with several fun moves.

As the trail hits the cliff walk right. You will walk around a large boulder up a slight hill to a slabby section of wall between two aretes. This is the left of the two bolted routes on the slab.

Many in my group found the slab below the first bolt to be much more difficult than 5.7 - perhaps complicated by a lack of traffic(?) and some slippery organic matter on the holds. Stick clip highly recommended unless leader is a super confident slab climber. Jul 27, 2016

Ughhh...this route kicked my ass, but I don't climb much slab. It's super wet after rain, but it did dry up mostly at the end of the day so we climbed it. Lots of potential mantles if you like that. May 15, 2017

Keep an eye on how rusty the anchor chains are... This line is in a water runoff and the chains seemed to be pretty rusted when we were there in April '17. Sep 5, 2017

Fun slab. I thought it was all appropriate for the grade. Wouldn't hurt to stick clip but we chose not to. Mantles and small feet. Worth climbing. Mar 22, 2019
