Stand start matched on a flake just under the lip with your choice of a number of slippery edges for feet. Make a few moves up through right facing incut crimps in order to slap to the blunt arete which runs up the centre of the boulder. Finish up the arete as per Orbital Traverse.

A number of options exist to move through the crimps to the arete all of which are somewhat awkward.

It might also be possible to sit start this problem by moving up through the sloping edges that are eventually used for feet. This would be considerably harder than the stand.

Starts just under the lip to the right of the blunt arete in the middle of the Orbital Boulder. The Orbital Traverse begins on the far left hand side of this boulder and moves up through blocky corners to the arete. From the arete look down and to the right, the starting flake should be fairly obvious.

The Orbital Boulder is located just to the right of the Tigerlily Boulder, near the end of the main approach trail. From the Highball/Malaria area follow the trail through some jumbled boulders (The Slab and Africa Boulders are found here) for a few minutes. The Tigerlily Boulder is tall and has a prominent ledge running through it.
