Access Issue: Please use high traverse above our property for access to both Jungle Gyms Details


First pitch: make a 4c or 5.8 move to a double bolt belay.

Second pitch: do a 6c or 5.11b/c move (top) to the anchors. It is a nice warm-up. There is moderate climbing before the crux.


This is on the Lower East Buttress, East of Jungle Gym. It is a 7 minute approach from our house, versus 3 minute for the Jungle Gym.

Short crux on second pitch, the rest of the climbing is really fun but easy. Would be 4 stars if it was a little more sustained. Jan 2, 2018

1st pitch has some awkward body positioning/movement. Run-out for 5.8. The 2nd pitch can be done at 5.9 if you avoid the upper crux and keep left at last 3 bolts...but don't...the direct line up the arete is bouldery, exposed, and fun. Jan 2, 2018
