Description
East Jungle Gym is immediately East of the Jungle Gym. Four new Routes have been added by Antoine Savelli in July 2013.
From left to right (there are no pics yet, but it is obvious and easy to find):
Yellow Jersey: Pitch 1 is 5 or 5.8. The second pitch is 6c+ or 5.11c. 8 clips. The second pitch has an exciting finish with only one crux move. It is a good introduction.
Corsican Accident: Pitch 1 is 6a+ or 5.10d and requires a little sequence to get it right. The second pitch offers an interesting bouldery start but very doable; however, the upper section (not using crack right of bolts) is 9a/9a+ or 5.14d or 5.15a. Otherwise using crack (needs TCUs small to medium size), it goes at a moderate 6c+ or 5.11c (move). 10 clips. The last 5 meters offer a wide variety of face-climbing techniques.
Cosa Nostra: Pitch 1 is 6b or 5.10d and offers positive and classic edge climbing, highly recommended. The second pitch goes at 8c+ or 5.14c (lower part under bolts) to the Treasure Island and finishes on golden granite. There is a 'cheat jug right variation' on the lower second pitch that greatly reduces its difficulty to 7c+ or 5.13a. Both pitches are short, not to be missed!!! 10 clips.
Midnight in Paris is 1 pitch with a 6c or 5.11b move. It connects with Cosa Nostra's first pitch. 8 clips can be used for top-roping Cosa Nostra.
