Description

It's not a 'project', but it is called "The Project"

Stick clip the high first clip. Climb a boulder problem to some easier terrain, a few slightly harder moves, then a double kneebar. From the double kneebar to the chains is the redpoint crux.

Yes, there is glue on parts of the route, but only for reinforcement, no holds were drilled or added.

The fifth bolt is a dogging bolt. It would be foolish to try to clip it on the go. It is wise to wear knee pads or thick pants for the sharp double knee bar rest. If there was one 13c that was "must do" at the NRG, this is probably it. Climbs like a gym route with steep slopers and dynamic moves. Apr 3, 2012

Agree. Very straight forward route, not your typical NRG route. Oct 21, 2012

One of the best routes I’ve ever been on. Power-endurance style on perfect rock with beautiful movement and flow. Like was said previously, a must-do at the grade. Thumbs up for knee pads and skipping the 5th. Nov 8, 2018
