Warning Access Issue: SOUTH SIDE CRAGS ARE CLOSED DetailsDrop down

Description Suggest change

This is the obvious and striking arete off the approach trail to Area 51.  The left side climbs from a stand start at V7.  The right side is dirtier but easier -- perhaps V3 or 4.  I don't know who did the first ascent.  I believe Matt Fanning has done a sit start to the left arete that goes at V9.

Location Suggest change

Look right about halfway up the approach trail to Area 51.  The arete is about fifty feet off the trail.
