Description

Bouldery moves up to the first bolt then follow a quartzite dyke to a large flake (#2 Camalot). Make tricky moves over the next bulge to a rest at mid height. Continue trending right on a steep ramp to the crux moves up and over the final headwall. Small cams are helpful after pulling over the final bulge. Finish up the slab on nice holds to a two bolt anchor. 90'

Location

Directions: Hike left along the cliff band until you reach a right-facing corner and buttress where the trail drops down. Walk downhill past a small slab (As Easy as Instant Pudding Pie) and look for an obvious blocky buttress. The climb starts 15' left of put my foot where?

Rap from the anchor.

Protection

Gear: draws, a (#2 or #3) Camelot, assorted small cams for the finish. 6 bolts to a two bolt anchor.

I thought this was a bit sandbagged at 10b in the new guide. I was glad to see it at 10c here.

A fun route that really tests your balance! Aug 27, 2012

Hi Casey!
No, that red tagged route is Chris Magness's. Probably going to go at 5.12 from what I understand. Looks tricky at the top!! Jul 24, 2010

Just did this today, Grammy found a real gem here. Nice rock, especially at the top crux. Too bad it's only 5.6! jk ;) Jun 27, 2010

Hey thanks Baldy, I am psyched that you liked it. That second clip without gear in the flake is a heart pounder for sure. Do you think the grade is accurate? May 12, 2010

What a cool route. I didn't use gear, because i didn't bring any, and it wasn't too bad (just be careful on the second clip). The slab to the anchor after the crux was a little runout, but easy. May 5, 2010
